Rajasthan literally means “Land of Kings”. Perhaps no other place in India has a history as rich and colorful as Rajasthan. At the time of India’s independence, there were 22 princely states that made up the present-day Rajasthan, with the Rajputs ruling them. They have left behind a legacy of massive forts, splendid palaces, historical temples and a land steeped in culture.
This motorcycle ride allows you to experience the true essence of Rajasthan with Taj Mahal in just 12 days. What with visiting historical forts & palaces, staying on the sand dunes in the desert, the quirky temples of Pushkar that we pay a visit to during the ride are unlike any in the world too. This Rajasthan ride is a judicious mix of history, myth and of course riding through arid landscapes while avoiding the busy highways as much as possible.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Delhi (Arrival)
You will be arriving at Delhi airport and transferred to the hotel. The first day you will be take rest and over night in your hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi
After breakfast you will be exploring for full day the historical walled city of Delhi. The sightseeing tour of Delhi will include the Jama masjid, Red fort (drive past only), Raj Ghat, Gurudwara Bungalow sahib, Humayun Tomb, India gate & President House (drive past only) Over night in your Hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi – Patan(190 kms/Approximately 4:00 hours)
After Breakfast You will head towards Patan. After Arrival check in & Freshen up in Heritage Patan Mahal . Patan is a town in the Indian state of Rajasthan. In the 12th century, it became the centre of a minor state called Tanwarawati or Torawati, ruled by a Tomar family. Later in Afternoon you will proceed for local Village excursion. Overnight stay in Patan Mahal.
Day 4 - Patan – Mandawa (125kms/ Approximately2.45 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Mandawa. On arrival check in at your pre booked hotel and later in evening visit the World renowned mandawa havelis and take an interesting walk in village. Overnight Stay.
Day 5 - Mandawa-Bikaner (195kms/ Approximately3.15hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bikaner. After Arrival check in & Freshen up in your pre booked hotel and later in Afternoon visit the Junagarh Fort and enjoy the tuk-tuk ride in old market. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 6 - Bikaner-Dechu(210kms/ Approximately3.30hrs)
After breakfast drive to Dechu. After Arrival check in & Freshen up in your pre booked hotel and later in Evening enjoy Camel ride with sunset view on Sand dunes.
Day 7 - Dechu-Jodhpur(125kms/ Approximately2.15hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Take a visit of Mehrangarh fort and Royal Cenotaph’s of Jaswant Thada. Later check in at hotel and overnight stay.
(Optional: enjoy the walk of bustling bazaar of Ghanta Ghar.)
Day 8 - Jodhpur-Nimaj (110kms/ Approximately 2.15hrs)
After breakfast drive to Nimaj. Check in at hotel & later in evening take a local village excursion. Stay Overninght.
Day 9 - Nimaj-Pushkar(110kms/Approximately 2.15hrs)
After breakfast drive to Pushkar. Check in at Hotel then visit famous Hindu Brahma Temple and Lakes, explore local market then enjoy sunset view at sand dunes. Return to hotel and remove your tiredness by spa and overnight Stay.
Day 10 - Pushkar-Jaipur(150kms/Approximately 2.45hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Check in at Hotel then visit City Palace, Observatory, Return to Hotel, Overnight Stay.
Day 11 - Jaipur-Agra (240kms/Approximately 4.30hrs)
After breakfast take a visit to Amber fort. Later drive continues to Agra. Visit Agra Fort & Overnight Stay.
Day 12 - Agra-Delhi (230kms/Approximately 4hrs)
Early Morning visit world famous Taj Mahal, Return to hotel for breakfast then drive to Delhi. At the appropriate time transferred to Delhi International Airport.
