Description

This is a walking tour which covers the major must-see attractions inside the Walled City (The Pink City) of Jaipur. We will also use a cycle rickshaw for some part of the tour.

About the walk : This tour takes you on a walking exploration of the walled city. We will start outside the city, at the Albert Hall Museum, and take a rickshaw ride from there to enter the city through one of its pink gates.

Once inside the city, we will walk along Chaura Rasta, seeing the various buildings, shops, residences, side-streets and temples along the road.

We will see the famous Hawa Mahal and the arched Tripolia Gate. We will visit the Observatory (Jantar Mantar) and the City Palace Museum in the royal block. The tour ends at the City Palace (there is a pretty café here, serving snacks and refreshments, if you would like to rest a bit).
